Welcome to the Peabody Kingdom. Prince Peter Peabody wants to wed. One night a visitor arrives. She is covered in mud and grease from trying to fix her race car. She also claims to be a Princess. Of course, no one believes her. Only one way to find out. Stack a pile of mattresses and stick a pea under one. Our annual musical comedy panto is always a wild and wacky time.

As always, there are Naughty Shows, Family Shows and the Naughty New Year’s Show. And, this year, we offer a ‘Naughty-Nooner’ version for our 2pm matinees. Think ‘Naughty Lite’ – somewhere between Naughty and Family…

Dark and Stormy Night – Young Company

Our first Young Company show of the year will be a “Pick Your Plot”performance with the audience helping to decide the outcome of this detective story! An expensive hockey card goes missing and Detective Sam Diamond is on the case. This spoof of the ‘Film Noir’ style in the search for the priceless card takes everyone on an adventure through dingy back alleys, flea markets, garage sales and sport shows. How does it all end? Well… that’s up to you!

The Tebworth Brothers

Stirling’s own Tebworth Brothers play a hometown show! Teenagers Marshal and Wyatt are already seasoned veterans of the Bluegrass scene and have been performing most of their lives. Wyatt plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar and upright bass and Marshal plays fiddle and upright bass. Both brothers sing lead and harmony vocals. The Tebworths are three generations on stage with Dad (Rob) on upright bass and Poppa (Doug) on guitar. Local Yokels – Stirling M.I.L.L. Fundraiser

Join us in the upper Eugene Burrell Hall for a fun night filled with some of the area’s finest musicians. There is a ton of musical talent in Stirling and the surrounding area and we want to feature them here at the Stirling Theatre. The Stirling M.I.L.L. (Musical Instrument Lending Library), built on grassroots involvement and participation and volunteer contributions, lends musical instruments to residents of Hastings & Northumberland Counties. A portion of all ticket sales will go to support the Stirling M.I.L.L. and if you donate an instrument to M.I.L.L., you will receive a free ticket. Some of our local youth who have benefited from this program will also perform.
