Steve Wilkinson (of The Wilkinsons)

Local country music icon and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Steve Wilkinson returns to the Stirling Festival Theatre for an intimate, solo evening.

As a member of The Wilkinsons, Steve and his children achieved international success. The family band topped the charts in the US and Canada with hits like 26 Cents, Fly (The Angel Song), Jimmy’s Got a Girlfriend and Boy, Oh, Boy. The band won nine Canadian Country Music Awards, one Juno award and were nominated for two Grammy Awards. Come enjoy this intimate show with a truly gifted artist.

 

This show will be performed on the Stirling Festival Theatre Main Stage and a maximum of 50 tickets will be sold. General admission.

House management will determine seating placement and will place cohort groups together. Please let Box Office staff know how many are in your group. We ask all audience members to wear masks or face coverings into the theatre and throughout the performance. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Our upstairs and accessible Burrell Hall bar and concession opens at 6 pm with physical distancing and restricted numbers.

Red Dirt Skinners

Described by Roots Music Canada as the Pink Floyd of folk music, the Red Dirt Skinners are multi-award winning, multi-instrumentalist husband/wife duo of Rob and Sarah Skinner. With male and female harmonies blending together as one voice and Sarah’s trademark soprano saxophone solos, you will be swept along by their refreshingly different sound.

With songs influenced by Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, Supertramp, Crosby Stills and Nash and David Bowie, coupled with some epic storytelling, humour and heartfelt emotions, Rob and Sarah will steal your hearts.

Brighton All Star Concert Band

The Brighton All Star Concert Band has been performing for over 7 seasons. They have been blessed with outstanding support from the Community of Brighton and their concert performances have quickly become famous for the variety of music and the quality of their soloists and singers. The group also boasts a Woodwind Quintet, Brass Quintet, a small vocal choir, 10-piece Show Band and a full Stage Band. Musicians range in age from 20 to 80.

Theatre Camp – July

Monday July 5  to  Friday July 9    9 AM – 4 PM    Burrell Hall / Main Stage

 

The Stirling Festival Theatre will be running our fun-filled Theatre Camp for youth ages 8 – 15 this summer. Have a fun week of learning to perform, to sing and dance. A great learning experience in a safe environment. Only 16 spots available.

Physical distancing measures will be in place and we ask everyone to wear masks and bring hand sanitizer.

Fun fact: Many SFT Young Company members started right here – in our Theatre Camp!

 

One week / 5 days  $200

Marie Bottrell – Rock of Ages

Marie Bottrell and her band will perform memorable gospel hits by some of Country music’s biggest stars like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, June Carter and Little Jimmy Dickens.

Our upstairs and accessible Burrell Hall bar and concession opens at approximately 1 pm.

Our upstairs Eugene Burrell Hall is accessible to those with mobility issues. Take the Stirling Library elevator, right next door. Washrooms are on the same floor.

With his own unique performing style, humour and an impressive repertoire of knowledge about Buddy, Zachary will leave you captivated and entertained throughout the entire performance.

Come out and enjoy an afternoon that will take you down memory lane to all of the top hits of Buddy Holly including: That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Maybe Baby and Oh Boy. Zachary will be backed by the Rockin’ Royals Showband.
