SFT TICKET INFORMATION

TICKET ORDERING

Please note that, at this time, our Box Office is closed to the public. Tickets may usually be ordered in person at the Stirling Festival Theatre Box Office, by phone (please leave a message if your call is outside of Box Office hours), by mail, or online. For seating locations in the Main Stage auditorium, please click here.

Wheelchair seats (in row R, seats 2-27) are not yet available for purchase online. Please call the Box Office to purchase your wheelchair seating. (Also see Accessibility, below).

TICKET PRICES

Prices are valid for the 2020 Season.

HST: All ticket prices for shows, events and meals are subject to the Harmonized Sales Tax.

Ticket Fees: Ticket fees are now included in all ticket prices.

Online Service Fee: There is a $5 per order fee for all online ticket orders. These fees cover most of the cost of software fees, Cloud fees, security for online purchases, credit card fees and other expenses. Thank you for supporting our not-for-profit charitable organization and understanding that these fees help to keep us in business.

Youth discounts apply to those 18 years and under.
Senior discounts apply to those 65+.
Family 4-Pack discounts are for 2 Adults and 2 Youth.
Group discounts are for parties of 15 or more.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, Retirements, and more… You choose the amount – your loved one chooses the show! Certificates can be used just like cash and have no expiry date. Please contact our Box Office for more information or to purchase. To purchase online click here.

ACCESSIBILITY

The SFT Main Stage auditorium is wheelchair accessible with washrooms on the same level, just off the lobby. Seats are removed from the back row (R 2-27) to accommodate wheelchairs at these special seating locations. Our upstairs Eugene Burrell Hall is accessible via the Stirling-Rawdon Library elevator, right next door, for all shows and events. Washrooms are on the same floor.

Please call our Box Office at least 24 hours in advance to reserve wheelchair accessible seating.

ELEVATOR ACCESS

An elevator located in the lobby of the Stirling-Rawdon Library, next door to the theatre, is available for all to access the upstairs Eugene Burrell Hall. Washrooms are also on the upper level.

FIRST AID & AED

Patron health and safety is one of our prime concerns. The House Manager and/or members of our team will coordinate first-aid assistance if required. Physicians are encouraged to leave their seat location with the Box Office. A public access Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) is located in the Stirling-Rawdon Library.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

In case of an evacuation of the theatre complex, please follow the instructions of the House Manager, ushers and SFT staff who will escort you to safety. If you discover a fire, please activate the fire alarm located in:

  • the Lobby
  • the Box Office
  • the Eugene Burrell Hall
  • the Main Stage Auditorium

and notify a Stirling Festival Theatre team member.

BOOSTER CUSHIONS

Booster cushions for children are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, due to a limited number, cushions are not available for Panto school performances.

EUGENE BURRELL HALL SEATING

Our upstairs Burrell Hall (96 seats) is flexible and designed to accommodate various events. Seating can be grouped to suit your party. Please indicate your seating preferences and other individuals or parties who should be seated with you when booking.

Pre-Show Meals & Dinner Theatre: Guests are seated at banquet tables of 8.

Music Concerts, Stand-Up & Play Readings: Guests are seated at cabaret tables for 4. Tables can be combined to accommodate larger numbers in your party.

PARKING

There is free on-street parking along West Front Street and, just a short walk away, in the St. Paul’s United Church parking lot (Station and Church Streets) and in the municipal lot on Henry Street. We have a drop-off zone right at the front theatre doors to let off your guests.

School & Tour Buses: We ask that you let your guests off at our drop-off zone and then park your vehicle at the Henry Street municipal lot.

No Parking: There is no parking on Emma Street. We ask that you be considerate of our neighbours and not park in the BMO or the GayLea/Stirling Creamery private parking lots.

THEATRE ETIQUETTE

  • The taking of pictures or recording any part of the performance is strictly prohibited except by permission of the artist/s. Photos and videotaping is distracting to our performers and audience members and violates terms of our royalty agreements.
  • All mobile devices must be turned off during the show.
  • In consideration of those who have allergies, scents should not be worn to our performances.
  • Only bottled water is allowed in the theatre auditorium.
  • Should you wish to partake in a candy or lozenge, please unwrap them before the performance begins.
  • Unless there is an emergency, plan to stay seated during the performance.
  • Please be quiet during the performance. Should a patron become restless, management may ask the patron to leave the auditorium.

 


SFT TICKET POLICIES

PROGRAMMING

Artists, programs, prices, and times subject to change without notice.

TICKET SALES & EXCHANGES

Only SFT Members may exchange tickets – free of charge and subject to availability – with 8 hours’ notice prior to the performance. If an alternate date is not available, tickets may be returned for a gift certificate.

For non-Members, there is an $8 per order exchange fee.

All ticket sales are final. We regret there are no refunds.

PAYING FOR YOUR TICKETS

We accept VISA, MasterCard, debit (except during this Box Office closure), SFT gift certificates, cheques and cash.

RECEIVING YOUR TICKETS

Tickets may be picked up at the Box Office during business hours or before the performance. For tickets purchased by phone, if your selected performance is within 2 weeks of the time you placed the order, we will hold the tickets at the Box Office. If before that timeframe and should you desire, your ticket order can be mailed for a $2.00 fee plus HST.

AGE RESTRICTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS

Unfortunately, babes in arms and children age two and under are not permitted in the Theatre with the exception of some Young Company and family-oriented productions. For these exceptions, please contact the Box Office. All youth (ages 3 and up) must be seated with a parent or adult guardian and able to sit in their own seat. Please leave strollers and car seats in your vehicle.

Audience age recommendations are indicated for certain productions.

SUPPORT PERSONS

Patrons with exceptionalities will be provided a complimentary ticket for their support person, if requested.

THEATRE ACCESS & LATECOMERS

The main doors to our lobby are usually open 1 hour prior to performances.

Everyone entering the Main Stage auditorium and the Eugene Burrell Hall must have a valid ticket. We aim to open the theatre and hall doors approximately ½ hour prior before the performance.

Latecomers are seated at a suitable break in the performance.

INCLEMENT WEATHER / SHOW CANCELLATION

Performances are rarely cancelled. In the event of a severe weather cancellation, a notice will be posted on our website, Facebook and our answering service. Box Office representatives will contact ticket holders to discuss alternative ticketing arrangements as soon as possible.
