Celtic Kitchen Party was the official kick off of the Stirling Festival Theatre’s 2018 Season. And what a great kick off it was. With a sold out house, Celtic Kitchen Party lived up to its name! There was singing, clapping and dancing in the aisles including yours truly and much of the SFT staff.
We look forward to having the Celtic Kitchen Party back again very soon. My mantra for 2018 was making new friends and re-connecting with old. I can certainly say that I made some new friends on the dance floor that night!
And the fun doesn’t stop there… On February 9 and 10, there is dinner theatre in the upper Burrell Hall with Better Holmes and Gardens, a Sherlock Holmes mystery starring JP Baldwin and Debbie Collins as The Property Sisters. Tickets are selling fast and Saturday is inching toward a sell out.
Family Day fun on February 19 shall be had with Jillian Jiggs in the main theatre. Based on the popular children’s stories, it is sure to be fun for the whole family. Stuck in the house on Family Day? Bring the kids down to the theatre!
Local country music favourites, The Wilkinsons are coming to Stirling for two intimate and acoustic shows on February 24th (2 pm and 8 pm). Multi-Grammy and Juno nominees, The Wilkinsons will surely put on a show to remember.
There is lots to do at the Stirling Festival Theatre and that only brings us to the end of February. Lots more music, comedy and local artists coming to town!
