So, it’s almost Christmas and what could be better than to celebrate the season at the Stirling Festival Theatre at this year’s musical comedy Panto – Jack and the Beanstalk.
This is a wonderful time to work at the theatre; it’s busy every night, everyone is having a great time, the theatre is full of laughter and everyone leaves with a big smile on their face
There are only a few performances left to enjoy; there are both family (suitable for children of all ages) and naughty (over 19s only) shows between now and the final show on New Year’s Eve. Yes, you can see in the New Year in style at the Theatre but don’t wait too long to book for any of these shows – tickets are selling fast. But don’t take my word for it; if you know anyone who has been, just go and ask them if they liked it…liked it? I’ll bet they loved it!
And even if you have already been, here’s a good reason to go again! The very wonderful Miss Debbie Collins has had to leave the show, half way through the run, to go and take up an offer she couldn’t refuse – to go on tour throughout North America in a Canadian production of Saturday Night Fever. We couldn’t stand in her way and we waved her goodbye with a tear or two on December 10. But fear not, “the show must go on” and it does. We have a brand new fairy in the shape of the equally wonderful Miss Christina Gordon, who brings her own hilarious brand of humour to the part. So come back and laugh yourself silly all over again.
