Stirling Fairgrounds (437 West Front St, near Farmtown Park)
Written & Directed by Ken MacDougall
In partnering with the Stirling Fairgrounds, the Stirling Festival Theatre is producing a new ‘60s musical – Drive-In! The Drive-In Musical. A young couple met last year at the drive-in on the last day of summer. They reunite a year later to rekindle their relationship. Featuring some of your favourite songs of the ‘60s.
Starring Debbie Collins, J.P. Baldwin, Dan Curtis Thompson, Melissa Morris and Sal Figliomeni. Pull your car up near the stage and enjoy this outdoor musical experience. Popcorn, music and comedy under the stars.
The COVID-19 pandemic has kept the Stirling Theatre closed for large parts of 2020 and 2021. When your theatre wasn’t closed, it was open with strict health and safety restrictions including a capacity of 50 people (in a 400+ seat theatre). While uncertainty still lingers as we head into Summer 2021, the Stirling Festival Theatre has pivoted and is moving much of its summer season outdoors. In partnering with a variety of businesses, organizations and townships, SFT is eager to bring Theatre Everywhere to entertain people who have been stuck at home for large parts of the last year and a half.
Shows will be Drive-In format only.
Stay tuned for announcements of special shows for antique cars and motorcycle enthusiasts.
