A Taste of Ireland – * New 2022 Show *

Featuring Dan Washburn and special guests from Ireland

Sunday October 16, 2022    2 PM

Local musician, Dan Washburn is bringing A Taste of Ireland to the Stirling Festival Theatre – a show featuring Seamus Fitzsimmons, Marian Waldron and Tomas Jackman all hailing from Ireland and coming for a short tour of Ontario. Dan is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer who has worked on over 200 albums. He has toured with George Fox, Colleen Peterson and Terry Sheridan. He is working on his 3rd album and works, regularly, in Nashville.

Tomas Jackman comes from Kilkenny Ireland. A renowned singer songwriter he has played music on the Irish and International circuit for over 30 years playing in many bands and as a solo artist. His Heartstrings, and Live from Kytelers albums are a great success and they were followed up with his releases Daddy Don’t Cry, Caledonia, Children of the Gael (with Frank Martin Gilligan) The Ballad of Dan Quigley and, his latest release, Home to Donegal – all of which had chart success on many radio stations worldwide!

Marian Waldron is a sensational singer and an exciting feature on the UK Country scene, and tops the Irish charts with her debut album With You which features her unique blend of Celtic, country and pop!   Marian’s recordings include Fields of Athenry, The Rose, Gypsy Joe and Me, Long Long Before Your Time, Isle of Hope, With You, My Irish Mother, My Irish Boy, Country Roads and When New York Was Irish. The Manchester born singer has been working in broadcasting for the last 25 years and it was only after a move to New York that she finally decided to take up a full time career in singing and move back to Manchester to launch her new album.

Seamus Fitsimmons is a singer/songwriter who has had a big impact across Ireland, UK, Australia and Canada. Recently, his song I Wanna Be was a number one song on the Irish and UK charts. He has written songs for numerous artists in Ireland and Canada and is working on a new album.
