The Stirling Festival Theatre privacy policy promises that any information collected about our patrons, including address, email address and phone number, is used only for SFT purposes (such as schedule changes, upcoming productions, and so forth). SFT does not sell, rent, give, or trade our list with other, outside organizations. Your information and your business with us is kept in strict confidence.

This Privacy Policy provides patrons of the Stirling Festival Theatre with all of the safeguards standardized in the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which became effective on January 1st 2004.
What information is collected?
Through either the purchase of tickets, enrolment in our children's programs, becoming a Member of the theatre, or by way of charitable donations, we collect personal information. This may include such information as your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. We also maintain a record of past ticket purchases, donations, correspondence, and other reasonable information related to fundraising activities.
How is the information collected?
Information is collected when you purchase tickets through the box office, or when you register your child for one of our theatre camps. The information may come to us by telephone, email, mail, in person, or when you purchase or donate over the internet.
How do we use this information?
This information is required in order to properly process your purchases and/or donations, to contact you about schedule changes, and to keep you informed about upcoming special events. In regards to credit card purchases, we will use your credit card number for payment processing purposes only, and will not use it for marketing in any way. For reasons of security, credit card information is not stored on our web server. The Stirling Festival Theatre does not sell, rent, give, or trade our lists with other outside organizations. Your information and the business you do with us is kept in strict confidence.
How is this information stored?
Personal information is stored in our confidential databases and in hard copy files. Only authorized theatre and box office personnel have access to this information. Any personal information that is no longer required to fulfill its intended purpose will be destroyed or made anonymous.
How long is this information kept?
In order that the SFT comply with federal tax laws, all payment information must be kept for a minimum of seven years. All other information is disposed when it's purpose has been fulfilled.
How is this information destroyed?
Destruction of printed material will occur by shredding. Any information stored on a computer database will be electronically deleted.
